Music Remembrance Radio

Started in 2023 in the scope of multimedia projects of the Forum Voix Etouffées CEMUT, Music Remembrance Radio is the first webradio dedicated to works and memory of silenced voices : the ones of persecuted composers, murdered or forced to exile through the 20th and 21st century. Our broadcast is made of exclusive podcasts prepared by musicologists, historians, researchers… along with of course rigorously selected musical recordings that proved significantly important, both musically and historically. In September 2024, the webradio reached for the first time 1200 monthly unique listeners with a growing international community from over 60 countries, making MRR the largest international radio broadcasting channel on these subjects.

MRR programs are available in streaming on a wide range of platforms, and its podcasts (in French, English and German) can also be consulted on a dedicated page.The Radio website is also the place where you can find the shop of the Forum Etouffées.You can discover there the latest publications from the association, as well as all those from partner organisations and associated European researchers.
